Post-Care Instructions
It is very important that you do not get your brows wet for the next 1-14 days as they heal. A minor splash of water is fine, but prolonged exposure to water is not. If they accidentally get wet, do not rub the brows to dry them; gently pat dry.
Day 1: Wash the brow area on its own with a gentle cleanser, and pat dry when done (no rubbing).
Day 2-14: Wipe or pat the brows with a damp cotton pad or cotton ball once a day to remove debris, face oils, and make-up. Only use disposable products not towels.
Optional step: Apply a thin layer (grain-size amount) of specified moisturizer on and around the brows once a day and night or whenever you feel tight, itchy, or dry. You can skip this step if they are not bothering you. You donโt want to suffocate the treatment area by using too much ointment.
Note: If you have dry skin, you will most likely require more moisturizing, while clients with oily skin can avoid it. Whether we use a moisturizer or not, our bodies will heal the tattoo. Our objective with moisturizer is to keep the skin at a balanced moisture level, not too dry or overly greasy.
For the remainder of the face, you can continue to wash and moisturize as usual, avoiding the brow region by 1cm. You can still wash your hair, but you must be careful not to get water on your brows. If a tiny bit of water gets on your brows after showering, simply wipe them dry. For the duration of the healing:
Avoid excessive water exposure on the brows.
No make-up application on the brows.
No sun tanning, swimming, sauna, hot yoga or excessive sweating.
No soap, moisturizer, make-up, creams or sunscreen on the brow area.
